My Brain: a particular computer
In 1999 the necessity of a portable system for electroacoustic measurements forced me to transform my PC into a ‘portatile computer’ and so My Brain was born! It is a very versatile machine, it is between a notebook and a PC, surely it is more bulky than a notebook, but with bigger chances of expansion.
The computer was born with a 1GHz Processor e 1GB RAM, and everything is closed into a polycarbonate case into which flows an air flux (in-out) given by 2x80mm fans, to guarantee the necessary cooling. The 15" monitor is one of the first LCD on the market at that time.
The bag is equipped by the Audiomatica CLIO measurement system, a microphone preamplifier and a free-field 1/2" microphone 4190 (capsule) + 2669 (pre) by Bruel&Kjær.
